Mrs. Duncan served as the Director of Urban Marketing at the largest wine & spirits distributor in the United States. In this role, Rabiah oversaw national sales and marketing campaigns for such brands as Perrier Jouet, Absolut Vodka, and Patron Tequila. With over 100 key accounts in New York and special markets, sales grew significantly under Rabiah’s influence. Additionally, Rabiah organized high profile events for celebrities, influencers, and decision-makers, as well as activating all liquor brand acquisitions for some of the premier nightclubs throughout the US.
Rabiah left Corporate America in 2008 to pursue entrepreneurship as a Brand Strategist for events, influencers, nonprofit organizations, and consumer brands. In 2011, she returned and joined global outsourcing organization where she managed multi-million dollar business portfolios for fortune 500 companies. Not shortly after her return to corporate America, Rabiah received the CEO Award. She also served as a Master Trainer for the Leadership Academy and led national Corporate Social Responsibility efforts in partnership with the HR and Marketing business units. Rabiah capped off her tenure with a nomination for the Global Leadership Award for Excellence.
Fifteen years of hard work culminated in numerous awards, high accolades, and an enviable resume. But was it enough? Oprah Winfrey once said, “The challenge of life…is to build a resume that doesn’t simply tell a story about what you want to be, but who you want to be.” And who Rabiah wanted to be was a great wife, an even greater mother, and naturally, the greatest creation of her “self.” Doing so required a newfound freedom—leaving her “9 to 5” to create opportunities and the best lifestyle for her and her family. Still, being an influential voice and creating a platform for other mothers who struggle with the daily grind of work, relationships, parenthood, and self-care, remained at the core of her true professional goals.
